HMS Elektronik returned to Hong Kong for three memorable days at the Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show 2026, together with our official Hong Kong distributor Richcoln Home Entertainment Centre.
Throughout the show, Room S424 welcomed a continuous flow of music lovers, audiophiles, dealers and industry professionals. From the opening morning onwards, visitors spent extended periods experiencing the complete reference system and discovering the engineering principles behind HMS cable and power-filter technologies.
The HMS presentation featured technologies from across our portfolio, including the award-winning Gran Finale 50 Series and the flagship Suprema MC2 Series. Integrated within the complete system, the HMS products demonstrated our approach to preserving signal integrity, dynamics and musical information throughout the audio chain.
A key part of the weekend was a series of listening presentations by Audio Technique. On the opening day, Lincoln Cheng demonstrated the dynamic capabilities of the system using mastered and unmastered Chinese recordings. The comparison showed how a transparent high-performance system can reveal the differences within a recording while preserving the character and dynamics of the original performance.
On the second day, Paul Leung guided visitors through a selection of Chinese songs, album releases and music spanning different genres. By exploring recordings with different musical characteristics, the session demonstrated how the complete system responds to the individual demands of each recording and how preserving signal integrity allows those differences to remain clearly audible.
The final day featured another special presentation by Joey Ho from Audio Technique. Through a diverse selection of Chinese music and album releases, visitors experienced how the system reproduced different genres while retaining the individual character of each recording.
HMS Elektronik could also be experienced beyond our main presentation in Room S424. In Richcoln Room S429, HMS cables connected a system featuring components from Unison Research, Opera, SME and Lector, demonstrating the role of signal integrity across another carefully selected high-end audio configuration.
The response throughout all three days was exceptional. After a quieter start to the final morning, visitor numbers quickly increased and the room once again became filled with guests eager to listen, learn more about the technologies on display and spend time with the HMS team.
Three days in Hong Kong provided an excellent opportunity to share the HMS approach to cable engineering and power technology with an incredibly engaged audience. The positive feedback, meaningful conversations and continued interest in our products made this year’s exhibition a memorable one.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited, listened and spent time with us throughout the show. A special thank you goes to Audio Technique and Lincoln Cheng, Paul Leung and Joey Ho for their presentations throughout the weekend and especially to our official Hong Kong distributor Richcoln Home Entertainment Centre for their continued support and for making our participation possible.
Until next time, Hong Kong.
