HMS Elektronik marked an important milestone with its Australian debut at the StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show 2026, held from 16 to 18 October at the Pullman Mercure Hotel & Events Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Together with our official Australian distributor, Extrema AV Distribution, HMS Elektronik was introduced to the Australian high-end audio community during three days dedicated to music, audio technology and high-performance sound reproduction.

Sharing Room 3315 with fellow Siltech Group brand Siltech, HMS was represented through a dedicated presentation of cable technologies and product displays. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the products up close, examine their construction and learn more about the engineering philosophy behind HMS Elektronik.

Founded in 1975, HMS Elektronik has spent more than five decades investigating the electrical and physical principles that influence audio signal transmission. From conductor materials and cable geometry to shielding and power management, our approach focuses on preserving signal integrity and supporting the performance of high-end audio systems.

The exhibition room also featured a carefully assembled high-end audio system with Audiovector loudspeakers and a selection of premium audio electronics. Throughout the weekend, visitors gathered for listening demonstrations, explored the cable presentations and engaged in conversations about the technologies and engineering principles behind the brands represented.

Jean-Philippe Fontaine, VP of Sales – APAC at Siltech Group, was also present throughout the event, meeting visitors and industry professionals while supporting the introduction of HMS Elektronik to the Australian market. His attendance provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and discuss the continued development of HMS within the Asia-Pacific region.

The three-day exhibition proved to be a successful introduction for HMS Elektronik in Australia. The combination of listening experiences, product presentations and personal conversations created an opportunity to connect with local audiophiles and share the technical expertise that has shaped HMS for more than five decades.
